Alabama High School Softball - Lamar County sneaks past South Lamar
April 5, 2025: Vernon, AL 35592 In Saturday's non-league match, the host Lamar County Bulldogs softball team scored a tight 3-2 win over the South Lamar Stallions.
The Bulldogs (11-12) will now prepare for their match against Fayette County (Fayette, AL). The Tigers come into the non-league match with a 6-14 record. In their last match, Fayette County was nipped by South Lamar (Millport, AL), 2-0, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Stallions battle the Marion County Red Raiders (Guin, AL) in a non-league match, on Monday, April 7. South Lamar will attempt to better on its 12-8 season record. The Red Raiders come into the match with a 3-9 record after their 19-3 non-league win over Phillips (Bear Creek, AL).
