April 12, 2025: Arlington, VA 22207 The Moore Catholic Mavericks softball team scored 9 runs and held the host Yorktown Patriots to 3 in the Mavericks non-league win on Saturday.
The Mavericks now possess a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Varsity Opponent for a non-league battle on Sunday, April 13. Moore Catholic will confront a team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Friendship Christian (Lebanon, TN). The record now stands at 24-59.
With the loss, Yorktown moves to 5-5 on the season. The Patriots travel to Cicero-North Syracuse (Cicero, NY) to confront the Northstars in a non-league battle on Monday, April 14. The Northstars come into the battle with a record of 1-0. Cicero-North Syracuse won 19-12 in their recent non-league battle against Camden (Camden, NY)
