April 13, 2023: Crystal Lake, IL 60012 The Prairie Ridge Wolves (Crystal Lake, IL) softball routed the visiting Hampshire Whip-Purs (Hampshire, IL), 8-3 in Thursday's league bout.
The Wolves (5-2) will now prepare for their bout against Grayslake Central (Grayslake, IL). The Rams go into the non-league bout with a 1-4 record. In their last bout, Grayslake Central held off Round Lake (Round Lake, IL), 15-0, in a league bout.
The Whip-Purs now possess a 4-5 record. They play next when they travel to Sycamore for a non-league bout on Friday, April 14. Hampshire will confront a Spartans squad coming off a 12-2 league win over Sandwich (Sandwich, IL). The Spartans record now stands at 10-2.
