In Thursday's league contest, the Crystal Lake South Gators (Crystal Lake, IL) softball team overwhelmed the host Hampshire Whip-Purs (Hampshire, IL), by a margin of 15-9.

With the triumph, Crystal Lake South moves its record to 9-9 on the year. The Gators host Dundee-Crown (Carpentersville, IL) to play the Chargers in a Fox Valley contest on Monday, May 1.
