In Saturday's non-league battle, the host The Vanguard School Coursers volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Mesa Ridge Grizzlies.

The Coursers (6-6) will now prepare for their battle against Fountain-Fort Carson (Fountain, CO). The Trojans come into the non-league battle with a 7-2 record. In their last battle, Fountain-Fort Carson achieved victory over Pueblo South (Pueblo, CO), 3-2, in a league battle.
