In Thursday's league battle, the host The Vanguard School Coursers volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the Canon City Tigers.

The Coursers (10-10) will now prepare for their battle against Cheyenne Mountain (Colorado Springs, CO). The Red-Tailed Hawks come into the non-league battle with a 15-6 record.
