The crowd at Monday's non-league battle between the Monroe Central Golden Bears (Parker City, IN) and the visiting Northeastern Knights (Fountain City, IN), saw Monroe Central's baseball team beat Northeastern by a margin of 7-5.

The Golden Bears (3-3) will now prepare for their battle against Shenandoah (Middletown, IN). The Raiders enter the Mid-Eastern battle with a 4-0 record. In their last battle, Shenandoah held off Centerville (Centerville, IN), 11-2, in a non-league battle.
