The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the Northeastern Knights (Fountain City, IN) and the visiting Blue River Valley Vikings (Mt. Summit, IN), saw Northeastern's baseball team gain a win over Blue River Valley by a tally of 10-0.

The Knights (11-3) will now prepare for their battle against Franklin County (Brookville, IN). The Wildcats enter the non-league battle with a 8-10 record. In their last battle, Franklin County was overwhelmed by Greensburg (Greensburg, IN), 7-2, in a league battle.

Next, the Vikings face the Elwood Panthers (Elwood, IN) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, May 9. Blue River Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 7-9 season record. The Panthers enter the battle with a 6-9 record after their 28-1 league loss to Alexandria-Monroe (Alexandria, IN).
