The University Prep Panthers softball team scored 16 runs and held the visiting Central Valley Falcons to 6 in the Panthers league win on Wednesday.

The Panthers now sport a 3-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Anderson for a Northern battle on Friday, April 17. University Prep will encounter a Cubs team coming off a 5-3 league loss to Central Valley (Shasta Lake, CA). The Cubs record now stands at 8-7.

With the loss, Central Valley moves to 7-6 on the season. The Falcons host Yreka (Yreka, CA) to encounter the Miners in a Northern battle on Friday, April 17. The Miners come into the battle with a record of 11-8. Yreka lost 2-1 in their recent league battle against West Valley (Cottonwood, CA)
