The Central Valley Falcons softball squad (Shasta Lake, CA), was routed 11-2 in Thursday's league contest with the host Lassen Grizzlies (Susanville, CA)

With the triumph, Lassen improves its record to 13-5 on the year. The Grizzlies travel to Foothill (Palo Cedro, CA) to face the Cougars in a non-league contest on Friday, April 24. The Cougars enter the contest with a record of 8-7. Foothill won 19-4 in their recent league contest against Shasta (Redding, CA)

The Falcons now hold a 8-7 record. They play next when they host University Prep for a Northern contest on Tuesday, April 28. Central Valley will face a Panthers squad coming off a 7-5 non-league win over Henley (Klamath Falls, OR). The Panthers record now stands at 7-12.
