April 14, 2023: La Mesa, CA 91941 The Helix Highlanders (La Mesa, CA) volleyball overcame the visiting Bishop's Knights (La Jolla, CA), 2-0 in Friday's non-league outing.
With the win, Helix upgrades its record to 23-6 on the year. The Highlanders host El Capitan (Lakeside, CA) to face the Vaqueros in a Grossmont Hills outing on Tuesday, April 18. The Vaqueros go into the outing with a record of 0-18.
The Knights now own a 16-8 record. They play next when they host Classical Academy for a Coastal outing on Tuesday, April 18. Bishop's will face a Caimans squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Hilltop (Chula Vista, CA). The Caimans record now stands at 13-9.
