Pennsylvania High School Lacrosse - Radnor gets by Springfield
April 14, 2023: Radnor, PA 19087 The Radnor Raptors lacrosse team scored 6 points and limited the visiting Springfield Cougars to 5 in the Raptors league triumph on Friday.
The Raptors (2-1) will now prepare for their game against Marple Newtown (Newtown Square, PA). The Fightin' Tigers enter the Central game with a 6-3 record.
The Cougars (5-2) will now prepare for their game against Downingtown East (Exton, PA). The Cougars enter the non-league game with a 1-0 record.
Game Summary
The Cougars struck first early in the first quarter but didn't score again until midway through the 3rd quarter. The Cougars trialed 2 goals going into the 4th quarter. With the help of (Jr) Lucas Aaron with an amazing 4th quarter, and (Sr) Sean Donaldson's goal with 4:30 left in regulation, Springfield forced overtime where they later fell in a hard fought end to the game.
