The Richard Pioneers baseball squad (Riverview, MI), was overwhelmed 10-2 in Monday's non-league contest with the host University Liggett Knights (Grosse Pointe Woods, MI)

With the triumph, University Liggett moves its record to 4-3 on the season. The Knights host Detroit Country Day (Beverly Hills, MI) to confront the Yellowjackets in a non-league contest on Wednesday, April 16. The Yellowjackets come into the contest with a record of 5-2. Detroit Country Day lost 6-3 in their recent non-league contest against Shrine Catholic (Royal Oak, MI)

The Pioneers now possess a 1-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lutheran North for a Catholic C-D C contest on Tuesday, April 29.
