Louisiana High School Softball - Mt. Hermon bounces Independence
April 14, 2025: Independence, LA 70443 In Monday's non-league match, the visiting Mt. Hermon Yellowjackets softball team scored a nice 23-6 victory over the Independence Tigers.
The Yellowjackets (11-9) will now prepare for their match against Family Christian (Baton Rouge, LA). The Flames go into the non-league match with a 3-13 record. In their last match, Family Christian was routed by Plaquemine (Plaquemine, LA), 19-1, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Tigers battle the North Iberville Bears (Rosedale, LA) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, April 15. Independence will attempt to better on its 3-16 season record. The Bears go into the match with a 2-10 record after their 22-7 non-league loss to Tara (Baton Rouge, LA).
