In Tuesday's league game, the visiting Globe Tigers baseball team scored a close 14-7 victory over the Coolidge Bears.

The Tigers (7-10) will now prepare for their game against Palo Verde (Tucson, AZ). The Titans enter the non-league game with a 6-8 record. In their last game, Palo Verde held off Valley Lutheran (Phoenix, AZ), 14-2, in a non-league game.

Next, the Bears face the Valley Christian Trojans (Chandler, AZ) in a 3A Central game, on Thursday, April 16. Coolidge will attempt to improve on its 8-9 season record. The Trojans enter the game with a 14-4 record after their 14-1 league win over Seton Catholic (Chandler, AZ).
