April 15, 2023: Westport, CT 06880 The crowd at Saturday's league challenge between the Staples Wreckers (Westport, CT) and the visiting Darien Blue Wave (Darien, CT), saw Staples's lacrosse team gain a win over Darien by a margin of 13-11.
The Wreckers (5-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Wilton (Wilton, CT). The Warriors enter the Fairfield County challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, Wilton was nudged by Archbishop Stepinac (White Plains, NY), 12-7, in a non-league challenge.
The Blue Wave (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Ridgefield (Ridgefield, CT). The Tigers enter the Fairfield County challenge with a 3-2 record.
