Governor Livingston Highlanders (Berkeley Heights, NJ) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Scotch Plains-Fanwood Raiders (Scotch Plains, NJ), 9-1 in a league test.

With the win, Governor Livingston upgrades its record to 8-0 on the season. The Highlanders host Summit (Summit, NJ) to clash with the Hilltoppers in a UCC - Watchung game on Tuesday, April 16. The Hilltoppers go into the game with a record of 3-2. Summit lost 5-4 in their recent league game against Cranford (Cranford, NJ)

The Raiders (4-3) will now prepare for their game against Westfield (Westfield, NJ). The Blue Devils go into the UCC - Watchung game with a 6-0 record. In their last game, Westfield ran past High Point (Sussex, NJ), 5-3, in a non-league game.
