In Monday's non-league challenge, the Needles Mustangs (Needles, CA) baseball squad triumphed over the visiting Pahrump Valley Trojans (Pahrump, NV), by a final score of 8-2.

With the win, Needles upgrades its record to 15-7 on the season. The Mustangs travel to White Pine (Ely, NV) to battle the Bobcats in a 2A Southern challenge on Friday, April 19. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a record of 16-1. White Pine won 13-1 in their recent league challenge against Awaken Christian (Las Vegas, NV)

With the defeat, Pahrump Valley falls to 12-13 on the season. The Trojans host The Meadows School (Las Vegas, NV) to battle the Mustangs in a 3A South - Mountain challenge on Wednesday, April 17. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 14-7. The Meadows School lost 10-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Virgin Valley (Mesquite, NV)
