Maryland High School Softball - Towson nudges Dulaney
April 15, 2024: Towson, MD 21286 Towson Generals (Towson, MD) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Dulaney Lions (Timonium, MD), 6-5 in a league challenge.
The Generals now own a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Eastern Tech for a Baltimore County 1 challenge on Wednesday, April 17. Towson will battle a Mavericks squad coming off a 7-4 league win over Perry Hall (Baltimore, MD). The Mavericks record now stands at 5-0.
With the loss, Dulaney falls to 7-3 on the campaign. The Lions host Sparrows Point (Baltimore, MD) to battle the Pointers in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 17. The Pointers enter the challenge with a record of 4-6. Sparrows Point won 9-4 in their recent league challenge against Catonsville (Baltimore, MD)
