Delaware High School Lacrosse - Middletown drops to Smyrna
April 15, 2025: Smyrna, DE 19977 Smyrna Eagles (Smyrna, DE) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Tuesday as they saw their lacrosse team top the visiting Middletown Cavaliers (Middletown, DE), 14-4 in a non-league battle.
With the victory, Smyrna advances its record to 4-4 on the season. The Eagles host Newark Charter School (Newark, DE) to encounter the Patriots in a non-league battle on Thursday, April 17. The Patriots come into the battle with a record of 4-4. Newark Charter School won 17-7 in their recent league battle against Delaware Military Academy (Wilmington, DE)
The Cavaliers now sport a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Appoquinimink for a Blue Hen - Flight A battle on Thursday, April 17. Middletown will encounter a Jaguars team coming off a 12-1 non-league loss to Milford (Milford, DE). The Jaguars record now stands at 2-7.
