April 4, 2025: West Middletown, DE 19709 The Smyrna Eagles lacrosse squad scored 13 points and limited the host Appoquinimink Jaguars to 4 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Friday.
The Eagles now hold a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Caesar Rodney for a Henlopen North challenge on Wednesday, April 9. Smyrna will clash with a Riders squad coming off a 20-13 non-league win over Sussex Academy (Georgetown, DE). The Riders record now stands at 5-0.
With the loss, Appoquinimink falls to 0-5 on the year. The Jaguars travel to Mount Pleasant (Wilmington, DE) to clash with the Green Knights in a Blue Hen - Flight A challenge on Tuesday, April 8. The Green Knights go into the challenge with a record of 0-4. Mount Pleasant lost 16-3 in their recent league challenge against St. Georges Tech (Middletown, DE)
