Illinois High School Softball - St. Joseph-Ogden bounces Rantoul
April 16, 2024: Rantoul, IL 61866 The St. Joseph-Ogden Spartans (St. Joseph, IL) softball routed the host Rantoul Eagles (Rantoul, IL), 15-5 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Spartans (15-5) will now prepare for their bout against Mt. Zion (Mt. Zion, IL). The Braves go into the non-league bout with a 14-0 record. In their last bout, Mt. Zion toppled Cumberland (Toledo, IL), 9-2, in a non-league bout.
The Eagles now possess a 4-11 record. They play next when they travel to Urbana for a non-league bout on Friday, April 19. Rantoul will confront a Tigers squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Centennial (Champaign, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 1-7.
