West Virginia High School Softball - Weir bounces Linsly
April 16, 2024: Weirton, WV 26062 The Weir Red Riders routed the visiting Linsly Cadets softball squad by a final score of 11-0 in Tuesday's non-league battle.
The Red Riders (15-8) will now prepare for their battle against John Marshall (Glen Dale, WV). The Monarchs go into the non-league battle with a 17-3 record. In their last battle, John Marshall was routed by University (Morgantown, WV), 7-4, in a league battle.
The Cadets now possess a 3-5 record. They play next when they travel to Parkersburg South for a non-league battle on Wednesday, April 17. Linsly will meet a Patriots squad coming off a 7-6 league loss to Wheeling Park (Wheeling, WV). The Patriots record now stands at 8-7.
