In Wednesday's non-league game, the host Walled Lake Western Warriors baseball team scored a nice 12-0 win over the Avondale Yellowjackets.

The Warriors (5-1) will now prepare for their game against Stevenson (Livonia, MI). The Spartans go into the non-league game with a 6-6 record. In their last game, Stevenson was overwhelmed by Franklin (Livonia, MI), 8-1, in a league game.

Next, the Yellowjackets play the Southfield Arts & Tech Warriors (Southfield, MI) in a Oakland - Blue game, on Thursday, April 17. Avondale will attempt to improve on its 4-4 season record.
