Michigan High School Baseball - Grant defeats Tri County Area

April 16, 2025: Grant, MI 49327

The Grant Tigers baseball team scored 6 runs and held the visiting Tri County Area Vikings to 1 in the Tigers league win on Wednesday.

The Tigers now own a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sparta for a non-league test on Saturday, April 19. Grant will clash with a Spartans team coming off a 6-2 non-league loss to Coopersville (Coopersville, MI). The Spartans record now stands at 3-5.

With the defeat, Tri County Area drops to 1-4 on the year. The Vikings travel to West Michigan Christian (Byron Center, MI) to clash with the Patriots in a non-league test on Thursday, April 17. The Patriots go into the test with a record of 5-1. West Michigan Christian won 16-1 in their recent non-league test against Sacred Heart Academy (Grand Rapids, MI)
