The Loomis Chaffee School Pelicans baseball squad (Windsor, CT), was edged 7-6 in Wednesday's league contest with the visiting Taft School Big Red (Watertown, CT)

With the triumph, Taft School moves its record to 5-2 on the season. The Big Red travel to Avon Old Farms (Avon, CT) to confront the Beavers in a Founders contest on Thursday, April 17. The Beavers come into the contest with a record of 8-1. Avon Old Farms won 10-1 in their recent non-league contest against Brunswick School (Greenwich, CT)

The Pelicans now possess a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Trinity-Pawling School for a Founders contest on Saturday, April 19. Loomis Chaffee School will confront a Pride squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Westminster School (Simsbury, CT). The Pride record now stands at 3-4.
