Taft School Big Red (Watertown, CT) followers left the game satisfied Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Westminster School Martlets (Simsbury, CT), 9-3 in a league contest.

With the triumph, Taft School moves its record to 1-1 on the season. The Big Red host St. Luke's (New Canaan, CT) to confront the Storm in a non-league contest on Saturday, April 5. The Storm come into the contest with a record of 3-1. St. Luke's won 11-8 in their recent league contest against Greens Farms Academy (Greens Farms, CT)

The Martlets now possess a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kingswood Oxford for a Founders contest on Friday, April 4. Westminster School will confront a Wyverns squad coming off a 6-3 league loss to Avon Old Farms (Avon, CT). The Wyverns record now stands at 1-1.
