In Wednesday's league bout, the Mid Valley Spartans (Throop, PA) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Riverside Vikings (Taylor, PA), by a tally of 12-6.

Next up, the Spartans encounter the Honesdale Hornets (Honesdale, PA) in a Lackawanna 2 bout, on Tuesday, April 22. Mid Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 9-2 season record.

The Vikings (6-3) will now prepare for their bout against Old Forge (Old Forge, PA). The Blue Devils enter the Lackawanna 2 bout with a 7-3 record.
