North Montgomery Chargin' Chargers (Crawfordsville, IN) fans left the game pleased Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the host Western Boone Stars (Thorntown, IN), 8-3 in a league match.

With the triumph, North Montgomery advances its record to 6-0 on the season. The Chargin' Chargers travel to Covington (Covington, IN) to battle the Trojans in a non-league match on Monday, April 21. The Trojans come into the match with a record of 5-2.

The Stars now have a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sheridan for a non-league match on Thursday, April 17. Western Boone will battle a Blackhawks squad coming off a 13-4 non-league win over Bethesda Christian (Brownsburg, IN). The Blackhawks record now stands at 1-4.
