The North Montgomery Chargin' Chargers (Crawfordsville, IN) baseball trounced the host Southmont Mounties (Crawfordsville, IN), 15-6 in Thursday's league challenge.

The Chargin' Chargers now own a 17-8 record. They take the field next when they host Greencastle for a non-league challenge on Monday, May 26. North Montgomery will clash with a Tiger Cubs team coming off a 5-1 non-league loss to Lafayette Central Catholic (Lafayette, IN). The Tiger Cubs record now stands at 16-4.

With the defeat, Southmont drops to 4-17 on the year. The Mounties travel to South Putnam (Greencastle, IN) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 28. The Eagles go into the challenge with a record of 5-12. South Putnam lost 11-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Cascade (Clayton, IN)
