The Escalon Cougars baseball squad (Escalon, CA), was edged 6-5 in Wednesday's league contest with the host Ripon Indians (Ripon, CA)

With the triumph, Ripon moves its record to 14-6 on the season. The Indians travel to Franklin (Stockton, CA) to confront the Yellowjackets in a non-league contest on Saturday, April 19. The Yellowjackets come into the contest with a record of 6-10. Franklin lost 16-4 in their recent league contest against Tokay (Lodi, CA)

The Cougars now possess a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Orestimba for a contest on Wednesday, April 23. Escalon will confront a Warriors squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Ripon Christian (Ripon, CA). The Warriors record now stands at 10-8.
