Weddington Warriors (Matthews, NC) backers exited the stadium satisfied Wednesday as they saw their lacrosse team top the host Porter Ridge Pirates (Indian Trail, NC), 24-0 in a league game.

With the victory, Weddington improves its record to 8-3 on the season. The Warriors travel to Sun Valley (Monroe, NC) to play the Spartans in a Southern Carolina/Rocky River game on Monday, April 28. The Spartans come into the game with a record of 5-9. Sun Valley won 13-4 in their recent league game against Parkwood (Monroe, NC)
