The Sarasota Sailors triumphed over the visiting Braden River Pirates softball squad by a count of 17-0 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Sailors meet the Lakewood Ranch Mustangs (Bradenton, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, April 22. Sarasota will attempt to upgrade on its 16-6 season record. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a 12-9 record after their 18-1 non-league loss to Bishop Verot (Fort Myers, FL).
