In Thursday's non-league match, the host Arnold Marlins softball team scored a tight 9-4 victory over the Walton Braves.

The Marlins (14-8) will now prepare for their match against Abbeville Christian Academy (Abbeville, AL). The Generals go into the non-league match with a 5-13 record. In their last match, Abbeville Christian Academy was routed by Edgewood Academy (Elmore, AL), 9-1, in a non-league match.
