Elko Indians (Elko, NV) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Spring Creek Spartans (Spring Creek, NV), 13-5 in a league challenge.

The Indians now own a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host Lowry for a 3A North - East challenge on Wednesday, April 21. Elko will battle a Buckaroos squad coming off a 18-17 league loss to Churchill County (Fallon, NV). The Buckaroos record now stands at 2-1.

With the loss, Spring Creek falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Dayton (Dayton, NV) to battle the Dust Devils in a 3A North - East challenge on Wednesday, April 21. The Dust Devils enter the challenge with a record of 0-3. Dayton lost 19-1 in their recent league challenge against Fernley (Fernley, NV)
