Virginia High School Softball - Twin Springs can't hold off Castlewood
April 17, 2023: Nickelsville, VA 24271 The Castlewood Blue Devils softball team scored 3 runs and limited the host Twin Springs Titans to 2 in the Blue Devils league triumph on Monday.
With the triumph, Castlewood moves its record to 1-1 on the year. The Blue Devils host Eastside (Coeburn, VA) to clash with the Spartans in a Cumberland game on Thursday, April 20. The Spartans come into the game with a record of 4-5. Eastside lost 3-1 in their recent league game against Rye Cove (Clinchport, VA)
In their next game, the Titans clash with the Virginia High Bearcats (Bristol, VA) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, April 18. Twin Springs will attempt to move on its 2-4 season record. The Bearcats come into the game with a 1-5 record after their 11-1 non-league loss to Tennessee (Bristol, TN).
