In Thursday's league game, the visiting Christ the Cornerstone Academy Defenders baseball team scored a nice 14-2 win over the Sandhills Classical Christian Lions.

The Defenders (9-1) will now prepare for their game against Mintz Christian Academy (Roseboro, NC). The Lions go into the Carolinas Christian game with a 4-3 record.

Next, the Lions play the Liberty Christian Academy Knights (Fayetteville, NC) in a Carolinas Christian game, on Friday, April 25. Sandhills Classical Christian will attempt to improve on its 2-7 season record. The Knights go into the game with a 2-5 record after their 14-3 league loss to Antioch Christian Academy (Lumberton, NC).
