The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Brown County Eagles (Nashville, IN) and the host Austin Eagles (Austin, IN), observed Brown County's softball team get by Austin by a final score of 28-21.

The Eagles (4-6) will now prepare for their bout against White River Valley (Switz City, IN). The Wolverines go into the non-league bout with a 4-2 record. In their last bout, White River Valley tipped Bloomington North (Bloomington, IN), 13-3, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the South Central Rebels (Elizabeth, IN) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, April 18. Austin will attempt to better on its 3-5 season record. The Rebels go into the bout with a 2-3 record after their 3-2 league loss to Lanesville (Lanesville, IN).
