Alabama High School Softball - Highland Home holds off Pike County
April 18, 2022: Brundidge, AL 36010 Highland Home Flying Squadron (Highland Home, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Pike County Bulldogs (Brundidge, AL), 5-3 in a non-league challenge.
The Flying Squadron now own a 2-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Straughn for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 28.
With the loss, Pike County falls to 10-9 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Charles Henderson (Troy, AL) to face the Trojans in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 19. The Trojans enter the challenge with a record of 12-10. Charles Henderson won 9-4 in their recent league challenge against Andalusia (Andalusia, AL)
