North Carolina High School Soccer - Monroe held off by Parkwood
April 18, 2023: Monroe, NC 28112 The crowd at Tuesday's league test between the Parkwood Wolf Pack (Monroe, NC) and the visiting Monroe Redhawks (Monroe, NC), saw Parkwood's soccer squad get by Monroe by a margin of 1-0.
The Wolf Pack now sport a 2-12 record. They play next when they host Anson for a Rocky River 2A/3A test on Thursday, April 20. Parkwood will meet a Bearcats squad coming off a 10-0 league loss to Central Academy (Monroe, NC). The Bearcats record now stands at 0-7.
With the loss, Monroe drops to 2-6 on the season. The Redhawks host West Stanly (Oakboro, NC) to meet the Colts in a Rocky River 2A/3A test on Thursday, April 20. The Colts come into the test with a record of 12-2. West Stanly lost 3-2 in their recent league test against Forest Hills (Marshville, NC)
