Virginia High School Softball - Gloucester bounces Heritage
April 18, 2023: Gloucester, VA 23061 Gloucester Dukes (Gloucester, VA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Heritage Hurricanes (Newport News, VA), 17-0 in a league challenge.
The Dukes now own a 7-3 record. They take the field next when they host Manor for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 19. Gloucester will battle a Mustangs squad coming off a 36-0 league win over Booker T. Washington (Norfolk, VA). The Mustangs record now stands at 5-2.
With the loss, Heritage falls to 0-8 on the campaign. The Hurricanes travel to King's Fork (Suffolk, VA) to battle the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 19. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 2-4. King's Fork won 13-10 in their recent league challenge against Oscar Smith (Chesapeake, VA)
