Virginia High School Softball - Gloucester bounces Woodside
April 13, 2023: Gloucester, VA 23061 The Gloucester Dukes (Gloucester, VA) softball routed the visiting Woodside Wolverines (Newport News, VA), 18-1 in Thursday's league bout.
The Dukes (6-3) will now prepare for their bout against Heritage (Newport News, VA). The Hurricanes go into the Peninsula bout with a 0-7 record. In their last bout, Heritage was routed by Phoebus (Hampton, VA), 21-1, in a league bout.
The Wolverines now possess a 3-5 record. They play next when they host Menchville for a Peninsula bout on Tuesday, April 18. Woodside will confront a Monarchs squad coming off a 8-7 league win over Kecoughtan (Hampton, VA). The Monarchs record now stands at 8-1.
