The Wheatland Pirates volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Center Cougars to 0 in the Pirates league victory on Thursday.

The Pirates now possess a 14-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Golden Sierra for a Pioneer Valley game on Tuesday, April 23. Wheatland will meet a Grizzlies team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Twelve Bridges (Lincoln, CA). The Grizzlies record now stands at 5-10.

The Cougars (10-13) will now prepare for their game against San Juan (Citrus Heights, CA). The Spartans enter the Pioneer Valley game with a 2-11 record. In their last game, San Juan was dropped by Marysville (Marysville, CA), 3-2, in a league game.
