April 18, 2024: Apex, NC 27502 The Apex Cougars lacrosse squad (Apex, NC), was overwhelmed 13-8 in Thursday's league challenge with the visiting Middle Creek Mustangs (Apex, NC)
Coming up next, the Mustangs meet the Green Level Gators (Cary, NC) in a Southwest Wake challenge, on Tuesday, April 23. Middle Creek will attempt to improve on its 7-6 season record. The Gators enter the challenge with a 5-11 record after their 22-7 league loss to Green Hope (Cary, NC).
The Cougars now sport a 6-11 record. They play next when they travel to Willow Spring for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 19. Apex will meet a Storm squad coming off a 19-1 league win over Clayton (Clayton, NC). The Storm record now stands at 9-5.
