The Castro Valley Trojans baseball team scored 9 runs and held the host Berkeley Yellowjackets to 4 in the Trojans league win on Friday.

The Trojans now hold a 14-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Piedmont for a West Alameda County - Foothill challenge on Wednesday, April 23. Castro Valley will clash with a Highlanders team coming off a 13-6 non-league loss to Oakland Tech (Oakland, CA). The Highlanders record now stands at 12-5.

With the defeat, Berkeley drops to 7-10 on the year. The Yellowjackets host Hayward (Hayward, CA) to clash with the Farmers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 22. The Farmers go into the challenge with a record of 3-13. Hayward lost 12-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Skyline (Oakland, CA)
