April 18, 2025: Burns, OR 97720 The Burns Hilanders (Burns, OR) softball routed the visiting Riverside Pirates (Boardman, OR), 15-8 in Friday's league outing.
The Hilanders now sport a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to La Pine for a non-league outing on Wednesday, April 23. Burns will encounter a Hawks team coming off a 18-17 league win over Creswell (Creswell, OR). The Hawks record now stands at 2-7.
With the loss, Riverside moves to 1-6 on the season. The Pirates travel to Weston-McEwen/Griswold (Athena, OR) to encounter the Tiger Scots in a non-league outing on Thursday, April 24. The Tiger Scots come into the outing with a record of 6-0.
