In Monday's league contest, the East Central Trojans (St. Leon, IN) softball team overwhelmed the host Franklin County Wildcats (Brookville, IN), by a margin of 15-3.

With the triumph, East Central moves its record to 7-3 on the year. The Trojans host South Dearborn (Aurora, IN) to play the Knights in a Eastern Indiana contest on Thursday, April 22. The Knights come into the contest with a record of 2-2. South Dearborn lost 8-1 in their recent non-league contest against Mason (Mason, OH)

In their next game, the Wildcats play the Jac-Cen-Del Eagles (Osgood, IN) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, April 20. Franklin County will attempt to move on its 5-5 season record. The Eagles come into the contest with a 2-5 record after their 21-7 league win over Milan (Milan, IN).
