April 19, 2024: Chatfield, MN 55923 The Chatfield Gophers baseball team scored 5 runs and limited the visiting St. Charles Fighting Saints to 1 in the Gophers league victory on Friday.
The Gophers (4-4) will now prepare for their match against Rushford-Peterson (Rushford, MN). The Trojans go into the Three Rivers match with a 2-4 record. In their last match, Rushford-Peterson was overwhelmed by Caledonia (Caledonia, MN), 8-1, in a non-league match.
The Fighting Saints (2-5) will now prepare for their match against La Crescent (La Crescent, MN). The Lancers go into the Three Rivers match with a 5-0 record. In their last match, La Crescent tipped Lewiston-Altura (Lewiston, MN), 10-6, in a league match.
