In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Taft Eagles volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Leyden Eagles.

The Eagles (14-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Saint Viator (Arlington Heights, IL). The Lions enter the non-league challenge with a 2-7 record. In their last challenge, Saint Viator was beaten by Waukegan (Waukegan, IL), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Eagles meet the Hoffman Estates Hawks (Hoffman Estates, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, April 19. Leyden will attempt to upgrade on its 7-5 season record. The Hawks enter the challenge with a 8-7 record after their 2-1 league loss to Fremd (Palatine, IL).
