Bloomfield Bobcats (Bloomfield, NM) followers left the game pleased Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Shiprock Chieftains (Shiprock, NM), 11-0 in a league match.

With the triumph, Bloomfield advances its record to 10-7 on the season. The Bobcats travel to Gallup (Gallup, NM) to battle the Bengals in a 4A District 1 match on Tuesday, April 7. The Bengals come into the match with a record of 4-13. Gallup won 4-3 in their recent league match against Kirtland Central (Kirtland, NM)

The Chieftains now have a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rehoboth Christian for a non-league match on Saturday, April 4. Shiprock will battle a Lynx squad coming off a 7-5 non-league loss to Navajo Prep (Farmington, NM). The Lynx record now stands at 4-1.
